Take a boat ride that travels around Sugarloaf and the backcountry as the Captain narrates about local history, native wildlife, and the mangrove islands through an onboard audio system. This includes a 90 minute sandbar stop! Minimum 2, maximum 6 people.

This private Sandbar Charter includes multiple sandbar stops, beach chairs, floats and balmy breezes! Enjoy the teal and turquoise waters while exploring the sand and shallows of the beautiful Marvin Keys. Bring the sunscreen and a sense of adventure for this tour. Maximum 6 people.

Gather your group, up to 6 people, for this Sunset celebration with open water views! Bring your libations to toast the end of a spectacular day in paradise! Weather permitting departs 90 minutes prior to sunset. Call Captain Scott for details and availability.

Where and when are the tours?

The Tours depart from Sugarloaf Key KOA Marina on Upper Sugarloaf Key. Tour are mornings or afternoons except for sunset. We like to cater tours to the tide cycle and feel free to contact Captain Scott to discuss the best options.

What do I need to bring?

Recommend wearing swim wear/shorts rash guard or coverup. Bring sunglasses, hat, towel, non aerosol sunblock, possibly a light jacket or windbreaker, gratuities, and a sense of adventure!

Are there any restrictions?

Guests must be able to use a four step ladder to re-board the boat, hand rails are conveniently placed. Anyone with serious medical conditions should consider the remote availability of medical care should it become necessary. If you have flu/cold like symptoms, for your comfort and those of other guests, please re schedule your tour.

What if the weather is bad? Do you cancel?

The Captain will determine if weather conditions prevent excursions. The Captain reserves the right to make adjustments and cancellations as necessary. Showers are always a possibility during the Tour and the Captain will make every effort to adjust course around any isolated weather concerns.

Is there shade on the boat?

The boat is equipped with a Bimini top to provide shade, however, we recommend a long sleeve shirt, sunglasses and hat for comfort, the sun can be very bright, beautiful, and quite warm.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed on the boat to insure the comfort and safety of all guests as well as your pet.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is not allowed on the boat, however, the first half of the Tour is approximately 75 minutes, we will stop at a sandbar where you may exit the boat and smoke. For the comfort of other guests we ask you smoke downwind and that any butts be retained to dispose of properly.

What do we provide?

We provide water and soda, a cooler with Ice, a light snack, camp chairs, flotation cushions, a trash receptacle, and the experienced Captain. Nature provides the stunning water views and back country scenery!

What type of payments are accepted?

Credit Cards or Cash is accepted as payment for the Tour prior to departure. Gratuities in cash at the end of the tour are appreciated, however gratuities can also be placed on a credit card.

Are gratuities customary?

Captains are part of the service industry, and do appreciate gratuities to help differ the high costs of living in Paradise. Tipping your Captain should be based on your opinion of the service provided. Our goal is to ensure you have a wonderful relaxing adventure!

Is their a restroom available?

The boat is equipped with a portable toilet below the console. The Captain will set up on request after the first half of tour at the Sandbar stop. Restroom facilities are also available at the marina for use prior and following tour.
